イスタンブールの思い出 ③

３日目はトプカプ宮殿からスタート。
The 3rd day was started from the Topkapı Palace.

チケットを買ったらおしぼりまでついて来た！
気が利いてるね。
When we bought the admission tickets, we got the moist towelettes.
Isn't it a nice consideration?

まずはハーレムから見学。
At first we looked around in the Harem.

母と娘たちのマネキン。
Mannequins of a mother and daughters.

やっぱり天井かわいい！
The ceiling is so cute!

ここに座ってお茶でも飲んでたのかしら？？
なんだかくつろげそうなお部屋だね。
Did they have tea here??
This room looks very confortable.

これまたゴージャスな天井！！
This ceiling is very gorgeus!

スルタンもこの景色を眺めてたのかな。
Did the Sultan also look at the scenery?

さてさて、宮殿をたっぷりと見学した後は念願のランチタイムです。
この日どうしても食べたかったものがあった。
We have looked around the palace well.  It's time for lunch!
There was something I really wanted to eat.


それは、、、サバサンド！！！
It was a ...mackerel sandwitch!!!

タマネギしか見えないけどちゃんとサバも入ってたよ！
噂通り美味しかった♪
You can see only onion, but grilled mackerel was also in!
It was as good as I've heard. 

その後はボスポラス海峡クルージング。
これもお値段の割には結構遠くまで行ってくれて楽しめた☆
でも、風が強くて途中から下の屋根付きの席へ移動。。。
After the lunch, we cruised on the Bosphorus.
It was not expensive, but we could get far.
It was windy, so we moved to the seats downstairs.

ドイツの客船、アイーダを発見！
We found the German cruise ship,  Aida!

何の建物か忘れたけど、多分政府系の建物です。
I forgot what this building is, but I guess, this is a government's building.

途中で何回か大きな橋の下を通ったよ。
Our ferry passed under big bridges along the way. 

漬け物の屋台がとてもステキ！
The pickle's stall is very nice!

この船がとても有名なサバサンドのお店。
ゆらゆら揺れてる船の上でサバを焼いてくれます。
This ship is a very famous mackerel sandwich shop.
They grill mackerels on the weltering ship. 

とても美味しそうなスイーツのお店を発見！
どれを買っていいのか相当悩みました。。。
We found a yummy-looking sweets shop!
We couldn't decide what we should buy....

お豆とチキンのピラフの屋台。
これが１００円以下のお値段で、超美味しかった！！！
また食べたいな。。。
Beans and chicken pilaf's stall.
It was less than 100 JPY and very yummy!!!
I wanna eat this again...

ご飯を容器に入れて、その上に鶏肉をさいて乗せてくれます。
This guy put the pilaf into the container and tear the chicken on it.

 この日のよるご飯はホテルの部屋でビールを飲みながらこのピラフを食べて、テイクアウトしたスイーツを食べたよ。
This evening we ate the piraf and drank beer in our hotel room.  And also the sweets which we took out.

こちらが先ほどのお店で買ったスイーツ。
お店で会った在独トルコ人のおすすめでした。
We bought these sweets at that shop.
A Turk who is living in Germany recommended them for us.

トルコスイーツって、和菓子に通じるものもあれば、洋菓子の様でもあってとっても不思議！特に写真右上のゆベしみたいなやつ。味もまるでゆベしだった！！
I found that Turkish sweets have something in common with Japanese sweets, and also with Europian sweets!  Especially the one upper right on the picture.  It looks like a Yubeshi, and tasts like Yubeshi!!

イスタンブールの思い出②

二日目。
朝起きてテラスで朝食。
Day 2.
We had breakfast at the rooftop terrace.

昨夜はモスクがよく見える席に座ったので海が良く見える席をチョイス。

As we sat at a table which has a nice view of the blue mosque last night, we chose a table which has a great view of the ocean this morning.

物欲しそうな顔をしたかもめがやってきました。

A seagull with a hungry look on his face came flying to us.

次の瞬間、手すりの際まで近づいて、、、

The next moment, he came close to the railing...

人がいなくなったすきにお皿の食べ物をつまみ食い！！！

While the hotel guetsts were away from the table, he snitched the food!!!

お見事な技でございました。
Well done!

朝ごはんはこんな感じ。一見普通のホテルの朝食バイキングって感じなんだけど、トルコの物産が盛りだくさん。

The breakfast was like that.  It looks a normal breakfast at a hotel, but there were a lot of Turkish specialities. 

特にスイーツなんてトルコっぽい！

Especially the sweets look very Turkish!

朝ごはん食べたらさっそく町へ出発！
After the brakfast, we went sightseeing!

ブルーモスクの近くに小さなバザールがあった～☆

There is a small bazaar near the blue mosque.

まずはブルーモスクへ。

At first, we went to the blue mosque.

天井がすごくゴージャスで、天井の写真ばっかり撮っちゃった。
I took many pictures of  the ceiling because it was gorgeous.

掃除中。。。
cleaning...

そして、向かい側にあるアヤソフィアへ。

ここは建設当時はキリスト教の教会として建てられたらしいんだけど、後からモスクにしちゃったんだって。面白いね。そして現在はミュージアムになってます。
And then, we went to Ayasofya museum opposite the blue mosque.
Ayasofya was built as a Christian church. But later, it was remodeled into a mosque.
That's interesting. And now, it's a museum.

トルコには猫が多いな、って思ってたんだけど、こんなところにもいたよ。

どうやって入ってきたんだろうね。

I thought, there are many cats in Turkey...even in the museum!
I wonder how the cat could come in.

ミュージアム見学の後は、地下宮殿へ。

これはなんとも不思議な場所だった！

昔は水をここにためてたらしいんだけど、柱がたくさんあるし、なぜかメデューサが彫られてる石が二つあったよ。

After that, we went to the Basilica Cistern.
It was a very mysterious place! There are many pillar and two of them are carved with the visage of Medusa ...but it's not known exactry why.

メデューサ！！どういうわけかさかさま。

Medusa!!  Somehow, it's upside-down.

そろそろお腹が空いてきたのでロカンタっていう食堂みたいなところでランチを食べました。

トルコ料理は野菜がたっぷりで良いね！
It's about time to break for lunch.  We ate at a eately called lokanta.
I love turkish dish because it has many vegetables!

値段忘れたけど、安くて美味しかったよ♪♪

I don't remember the price, but it was very cheap and tasty!

さてさて、お腹がいっぱいになったところで、ちょっと散歩♪

細い路地に入ったら、観光エリアから外れたらしく、地元の人でにぎわうエリアに来ちゃった。

なんか竹下通りみたいだった。

We were full, so we went for a walk.

We walked into a small alley and here were busy with local people.

It was like Takeshita-dori in Tokyo.

そしてやってきたのが海沿いのエリア。

And then, we got to the waterfront area.

 活気があっていいですね。

I like this area because it has a lively atmosphere.

時間もちょっと微妙だったのでバザールへ行ってみることにしました。
We had some time so we went to bazars!

And this shop...

日本の有名人も、日本企業の駐在員さんも御用達、エドまっちゃんの店。

Japanese famouse people and japanese businessmen's favorite, Edomacchan's shop.

このお店についてはトルコの下調べをしてたときに世界一周旅行のブログを読んで知ってたから是非行ってみたかった。このお店の人たちは、日本語上手だし、何よりも日本人みたい！値段も始めから安心プライスだし、人を騙そうとしてないって言うのが伝わってきてうわさ通りのいいお店だと思った。

こちらではカラスミを日本の約五分の一のお値段でゲット！！

トルコでカラスミが買えるなんて思ってなかったからホント感激！
I read about this shop on a blog which was written by a backpacker traveling around the world. So I wanted to visit here. Staffs speak very good Japanese and more than anything, they are just like Japanese! The prices were more reasonable than other shops from before asking for discount and I could feel, they don't try to rip us off.  It's as good as I heard.
I got botargo 80% lower price than in Japan!!
I didn't expected that I can buy botargo in Turkey, so I was really happy!

るんるんでエジプシャンバザールを出た私たち。

次に向かったのはグランドバザール。

We left the Egyptian bazaar with a happy feeling.
Next we came to the grand bazaar.

こちらの方が大きかったけど、私はエジプシャンバザールの方が雰囲気が好きだなぁ。

It was bigger than the Egyptian bazaar, but I like better the atmosphere of the Egyptian bazaar.

バザールを満喫した後はトルコのアイス、ドンドルマを食べたよ。

After enjoying shopping at the bazaars, we ate Turkish ice cream, dondorma.

毎日ドンドルマを食べたけど、このMADOっていうお店のが一番おいしかった。

なんだか有名なお店みたい。

I ate dondorma every day during the trip. And I thought the shop, MADO, was the best.
Seems very famous ice cream shop.

その後は、海沿いを散歩。
We took a walk along the coastal road.

釣りしてる人がたくさんいたよ。
Many people were fishing.

海側から見たモスクもきれい！

The view of the mosque from ocean side was also beautifl.

たくさん散歩して、お腹が空いたのでそろそろディナーの時間です。

この日の夜はホテルの近くにあるレストランで食べました。

このお店ではお酒の取り扱いがなかったよ！

As we walked very much, we were hungry. So we went to a restaurant for dinner near our hotel.
This restaurant didn't serve alcohol.

レストランからの景色もやっぱりモスク！！

The view from the restaurant was mosque, of course!

 前菜はブドウの葉のドルマ。

We had grape-leaf dolma for apitizer.

きりちゃんが食べたケバブ。

さて、お腹もいっぱいになったところで夜の散歩。

ブルーモスクとアヤソフィアの間の広場でたっくさんの人が夜のピクニックをしてたよ。

きっとラマダンの夜って毎晩こんな感じなんだね。楽しそう！

After the dinner, we went for a walk (again).
Many people were having picnic meal at the place between the blue mosque and the Ayasofya.

なんかドイツのクリスマスマーケットみたい。

It looks like a christmas market in Germany.

この日はホテルでトルコのビールを飲んで寝たよ。
ビールはやっぱりドイツの方が美味しいよね。。。
We drank turkish beer in the hotel room and went to bed.
Hmmm, I prefer German beer.
